Hurricane Kyle

Well, here we are, a couple of days before our departure from St Andrews, and we are already trying to dodge a hurricane. Kyle is coming straight at us, so we have taken down all of our sails, and tied down everything that could fly off. BB, our very helpful wharfinger, has added another line to our mooring. We are going to sleep on land tonight as it hits, and keep our fingers crossed. If all goes well, I am planning to go to St Stephen for a last big set of groceries tomorrow, and Val is going to finish sorting out storage for the things we are not bringing.

Doesn't look like Kyle was too much so here's hoping you get started on your journey as planned. I think you two are crazy and I am as jealous as one little fella can be. Please keep things posted on here and have a blast!! I can't wait to see your faces again and hear your stories.....be safe!!!

Keep that new solar panel facing the sky, it works much better that way. It's also more comfortable for the crew. I'll be watching your adventure.

Hey - if the cruel working world keeps treating me this way, I may be sailing behind you soon enough! I am soooo envious and wish you both nothing but good adventures and hope that you meet lots of sailors along the way. Take in as much as you can... on camera of course so that you can share all of the memories!
